1. Order Processing Time

All orders are processed within 1–3 business days of payment confirmation. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding public holidays. You will receive an email confirmation with your order details immediately after purchase, and a second email with your tracking number once your order has been dispatched.

Please note the following:

  • Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next available business day
  • During peak seasons or promotional periods, processing times may extend to 3–5 business days
  • Custom or special-order saddles may require additional production time of 7–14 business days before dispatch — you will be informed of this at the time of purchase
  • We do not ship to P.O. Boxes for large items such as saddles

2. Shipping Destinations

3. Shipping Methods and Estimated Delivery Times

We work with trusted international carriers including FedEx, UPS, DHL, and USPS depending on your location and the size of your order. Estimated delivery times are as follows:

4. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the destination, weight, and dimensions of your order. For large or heavy items such as saddles, shipping costs will be clearly displayed before you complete your purchase. We occasionally offer free shipping promotions — any active promotions will be displayed on our website or applied automatically at checkout.

5. Order Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number and a link to track your package. You can track your order at any time using the carrier’s website or by logging into your account at horsesaddleshopfr.com.

If you have not received a tracking number within 4 business days of placing your order, please contact us at info@horsesaddleshopfr.com and we will investigate immediately.

6. Customs, Import Duties, and Taxes

Horse Saddle Shop FR ships from the United States. For international orders, your package may be subject to customs inspections and import duties or taxes imposed by your country’s customs authority. Please be aware of the following:

  • Customs duties, import taxes, and VAT are the sole responsibility of the customer
  • These charges are not included in our product prices or shipping fees
  • We have no control over customs processes and cannot predict the amount you may be charged
  • Customs processing may add additional days to your estimated delivery time
  • We are legally required to declare the full value of all shipments on customs documentation — we are unable to mark items as gifts or undervalue packages

We recommend checking with your local customs authority before placing an international order if you have concerns about import costs.

7. Delivery Attempts and Failed Deliveries

Most carriers will make multiple delivery attempts if you are not available to receive your package. If a delivery attempt fails:

  • The carrier will leave a delivery notice with instructions on how to rearrange delivery or collect your package from a local depot
  • If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address provided by the customer, refusal of delivery, or failure to collect from the depot, the customer will be responsible for the cost of re-shipping
  • Horse Saddle Shop FR is not responsible for packages delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer at checkout

Please ensure your full and correct delivery address is entered when placing your order.

8. Damaged or Lost Packages

We take great care in packaging all items, especially fragile and high-value equestrian equipment. However, if your package arrives damaged or does not arrive at all, please follow these steps:

For damaged packages:

  • Photograph the damaged packaging and item immediately upon receipt
  • Do not discard the packaging
  • Contact us at info@horsesaddleshopfr.com within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photos
  • We will file a carrier claim and arrange a replacement or refund as appropriate

For lost packages:

  • If your tracking shows no movement for more than 7 business days, or if the estimated delivery window has passed, contact us at info@horsesaddleshopfr.com
  • We will open an investigation with the carrier, which typically takes 5–10 business days to resolve
  • If the package is confirmed lost, we will send a replacement or issue a full refund

10. Large and High-Value Items

Saddles and other large equestrian items are shipped with extra care using reinforced packaging. For orders over $500, we strongly recommend ensuring you or a trusted person is available to receive the delivery and sign for the package. Signature confirmation may be required for high-value shipments.
